Whole-House Water Filtration System for City Water

$2,961

Complete system price

City water is safe to drink, but it’s treated with chlorine or chloramine to get it to your house. That’s what you taste in a glass from the tap and smell in the shower. This system filters it out at the main water line, so every faucet and shower in the house gets the benefit.

  • Reduces chlorine taste and smell at every tap
  • Better water for showers, skin, and hair
  • Filters water for cooking, coffee, laundry, and dishes
  • Installed at the main line by a licensed plumber

Well Water Treatment System

Well water doesn’t go through a treatment plant, so what’s in the ground ends up in your pipes. Orange stains in the tub, a rotten-egg smell, gritty sediment, and spotty dishes are all signs your well water needs work. We look at what’s going on with your water and set you up with a system made for well homes.

  • Targets iron, sulfur smell, sediment, and hardness
  • Treats the water for the whole house, not just one faucet
  • Helps protect fixtures and water-using appliances

Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System

For the water you drink and cook with, reverse osmosis takes it a step further. It sits under your kitchen sink and pushes water through a very fine membrane that catches what regular filters miss. You get its own faucet at the sink, and you can stop buying bottled water.

  • Clean, great-tasting drinking water on tap
  • Reduces a wide range of dissolved contaminants
  • Pairs well with a whole-house system

Water Softener and Sediment Filter Add-Ons

Water Softener

Hard water leaves white crust on faucets, spots on dishes, and scale inside your water heater. A softener takes out the minerals that cause it, so soap lathers better and appliances last longer.

Sediment Pre-Filter

Catches sand, dirt, and rust before they reach your pipes and your main system. It’s a simple add-on that helps everything downstream work better and last longer.

Water Filtration Questions and Answers

My city water is already treated. Why would I filter it?

The city treats water so it’s safe by the time it reaches you, and chlorine or chloramine is part of that. A whole-house system takes that out at your house, so you get the safe water without the chemical taste and smell.

What’s the difference between a whole-house system and reverse osmosis?

A whole-house system filters all the water coming into your home. Reverse osmosis is a second, finer stage for your drinking and cooking water at the kitchen sink. A lot of families get both.

Who installs the system?

Every system is installed by a licensed plumber. It’s done right, it’s done to code, and we clean up before we leave.

I’m on a well. Can you help?

Yes. Well water varies a lot from house to house, so we’ll ask what you’re seeing (stains, smell, sediment, hardness) and recommend a system that fits.

Will a filter lower my water pressure?

A system that’s sized right for your home shouldn’t cause a noticeable drop. That’s part of why we ask about your house before recommending anything.

How often do filters need to be changed?

It depends on the system and how much water your household uses. We’ll tell you exactly what to expect before you buy, so there are no surprises later.

How does getting a quote work?
